A visit to Hindustan Times Press, Greater Noida on 25th April 2018

Students of class X visited Hindustan Times Press,Greater Noida (the largest HT press all over the India in terms of infrastructure) on 25th April 2018.

The purpose of the visit was to educate students about the entire process of how a newspaper is printed starting from page setting, printing and then dispatching of the newspaper. 

Few interesting facts about HT Press, Greater Noida are:-

-HT Press uses paper roll from Europe for the printing purposes. One paper roll prints about 25,000 copies. 

-Approximately 25 Lakhs copies are printed in a day that are distributed in Delhi-NCR, Dehradun, Merrut etc.

-There are more than 25 branches of Hindustan Times Press all over India.

This visit enthused students and brought awareness about this crucial aspect of print journalism.
