Junior Annual Function


Pragyan School proudly celebrated its 12th Junior Annual Day on 9th March. 2019.The ceremonial function was graced by the Chief Guest Hon Sayeed Ansari, Executive Editor of AajTak, Special Guest Mr. Neel Kamal Jha, CEO Cambium Biotech, Dr Kusum Chand, the school Chairperson, the school mentor, Mr. S P Bakhshi, the school mentor and , the School Managing Trustee Mr. Ram Chand.

The theme for this year’s cultural event was ‘Moana’ by the students of Classes Nursery to 2. After the traditional lighting of the lamp, the programme commenced with the mesmerizing raag Bhopali played by the school’s instrumental group. The blooming singers of the school choir presented the ‘Welcome Song’ which created an ambience of serenity.  The Primary Co-ordinator of classes 1 & 2, Ms Rashmi Chugh welcomed the honourable dignitaries and the audience. It was followed by the presentation of the Annual Report by the school principal, Ms Ruchika Sharma, highlighting the progress made by the school. The Chief Guest Hon Sayeed Ansari, Executive Editor of AajTak, in his speech highly appreciated the students for their confidence and smartness during the stage presentation. He even mentioned that the new age parents should always encourage their wards to go ahead in their fields of interest, instead of chasing after the grades only. That’s how a child’s wholesome development is possible. The dance drama ‘Moana’ featuring how a little girl accomplishes her mission to save her island with sheer determination and courage was one of the main attractions of the show. The participants enthralled the audience with a spectacular performance enriched with rich music, costume, dance and enactment.

The academic and endowment awards were given away by the Chief Guest to the meritorious students. The Nishant Chaudhary trophy of the pre-primary department was awarded to Arohi Thakur.

Apart from the fun-filled presentation, an exhibition on the Disney World prepared by the students was put up to display.

The School Principal, Ms Ruchika Sharma, in her vote of thanks, asserted her pride for the participants because of their effort and presentation. The programme concluded with the National Anthem.
