The grand opening of CBSE CLUSTER XIX BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT 2017 was held on 25^th September 2017 by Mrs.Ruchika Sharma, Principal, Pragyan School, and Ms.Ritu, Observer C.B.S.E at Pragyan School, Greater Noida.

The Four days inter school tournament started on 25^th – 28^th September 2017, under which 125 Schools participated with their 188 teams. The opening of the tournament was marked by Sarasvati Vandana followed by patriotic songs. The sportsmanship oath was taken by students of all the participating teams before the starting of the tournament.

The tournament is being played among the Boys and Girls under 19 and 17 year categories.
