Reopening of Schools for students of Classes VI to VIII w.e.f. 15th February 2021

Dear parent

Greetings!

Hope you are safe and happy at home. Things are slowly coming back to the new normal. The State Government has now given its nod for reopening of schools in the UP State for students of classes VI to VIII.

We at Pragyan, are gearing up to welcome our precious gems with warm hearts. As per the directives received from various Government bodies, the school is ready with its SOP to partially reopen the school for the middle classes. The SOP for reopening the school are attached below. These SOP outlines various generic precautionary measures in addition to specific measures which will be taken up when our school reopens for students of classes VI to VIII.

As per the inputs received from the government, the school will reopen for students twice a week as per the schedule given below:-

Decision to send your ward to school is purely voluntary and is not mandatory. Classes in physical school will also be streamed live to those students who are at home.

School will open for students of classes VI to VIII from Monday, 15th February 2021 from 8:15 am to 1:30 pm. Students who wish to use the school transport are requested to get in touch with the transport incharge Mr. Chandrapal @ 9990475851. Transport fee of 15 days of the month of February and full month for March will have to be paid.

The students who are willing to attend the school physically from 15th February 2021 will also be taking their forthcoming Summative Assessments from school.

Revision work is in full swing and will continue till the commencement of exams. Teachers are revising the syllabus and helping students sit confidently in their exams.

Duration and timetable of classes in physical school will remain the same as their online classes. Students need to bring their food to school in their lunch packs. A half an hour of refreshment break will be provided from 10:45 am to 11:15 am.

Please note that students need to carry the following things while attending school:-

  1. All relevant books, notebooks, stationeryas per the time table. Students will not be allowed to use the school lockers.
  2. Students will have to wear a proper maskat all times when they are in school. One extra mask, properly packed, must be carried to school, in case it is required.
  3. Although hand sanitizersare placed in different areas of the school and in the corridors of the senior school building, students are advised to carry their own hand sanitizers as well. School building along with its furniture will be sanitized once a day. Students are also expected to carry a sanitizer spray to disinfect their tables and chairs.
  4. Paper tissuesneed to be in everyone's pockets so that these may be used in washrooms and other areas.
  5. Students must carry 1-2 bottles of water. Refill, if required, can be done from the Junior Dining Hall of the senior building.
  6. All waste– leftover food, foils, used masks need to be carried back home. A small carry bag must be present with everyone to carry their trash back home.

Parents are requested to advise their wards on social distancing and other precautions to be adhered to during their presence in school.

 

Parents are requested to fill up the consent form attached below, for sending their ward to school. The same need to be mailed to the class teachers by 10th February 2021 so that the school can make necessary arrangements.
