• PTM for classes Pre- Nursery- Class XI is on Saturday, May 14^th 2016. Timings for the same is 9.30am- 11.30 am.
\r\n&tab;
• School closes for summer break for classes Pre-Nursery- Class X from Saturday, May 14^th 2016 and will re-open on Friday, July 1^st 2016.
\r\n&tab;
• Summer camp, commences  from, Monday, 16^th May- Saturday, 28^th May wherein there are ample opportunities for students to learn and enjoy a wide range of  creatively designed  activities. Camp timings are from 8.15 am- 12.30.\r\n&tab;
  \r\n&tab;&tab;
  • Class XI- XII  will have regular classes till 28^th May from 8.15 am – 2.00 pm
  \r\n&tab;&tab;
  • Mapping mind is now available  to be downloaded from Google App store under the name Pragyan School. All the parents who have Android phones can access the same. Log in Id and password is the same as used for Pragyan mapping mind.

• Children of Nursery and KG enjoyed their last day in the school before summer vacation.
\r\n&tab;
• In Nursery letter ‘I'and its phonic sound was introduced with flash cards and pictures .Revision of letter L,T,I was done through ‘Hopscotch',making of letters with blocks and worksheets based  on the same letters were done in English. In Math revision was done of numerals 1 and,2.  Shape (circle)and big /small concept were also revised.  Concept on‘Rough/smooth',hard/ soft  was introduced to the children using different objects  in science demonstration. In EVS children enjoyed making cow shed and sang song ‘Moo moo brown cow'.InGeneral Awareness Summer season and summer fruits were discussed and recapitulated.

• In KG children enjoyed making simple sentences using Sight words.Recapitulation of letters a,o,c,d and ‘od' words were done in English.In Math revision of numbers 0-30 and before/after/between were done,Children loved doing the worksheets based  on the mentioned  concepts.In EVS recapitulation of ladybird and buffalo was  done .In General Awareness children enjoyed an activity  on ‘My Family'.

• Revision of swar and introduction of vyanjan  ‘Ã %A4%AC'‘Ã %A4%B5' and related stories and rhymes were done in Hindi.An activity on Swar was also done in class.

• Our thanks to the parents of classes II B and II C for their motivating presence during the class assemblies.
\r\n&tab;
• Holiday homework for classes I- V has been uploaded on mapping minds.
\r\n&tab;
• Junior vocal music group and instrumental club will have a presentation on 14.5.16 in the auditorium foyer, at 10.30 am. We invite all for the same.
\r\n&tab;
• TejasKohli of class V A will display his talent in origami on 14.5.16.
\r\n&tab;
• The following Wednesday activities were  done:
\r\n&tab;
• Classes 1 &2- Show and Tell based on the theme- Indoor Games.
\r\n&tab;
• Classes 3- 5- KavitaVachan
\r\n&tab;
• Winners will soon  be awarded certificates.
\r\n

• Class XI- XII  will have regular classes till 28^th May.
\r\n&tab;
• Extra classes will be held for weak and high achievers of classes VI- X.
\r\n&tab;
• Holiday homework for classes 6 to 10 is uploaded on mapping minds. The homework is already discussed in the class.

\r\n&tab;
• Pen paper test-1 papers were shown and discussed with students and were send back home on 12/5/16 for parents observation and signature. Students were to return the paper on 13/5/16 to their respective class teachers. In case any student didn't return the answer sheets they are advised to do so during PTM on 14/5/16.
  \r\n&tab;Retest PPT-1 schedule have been mailed to the  concerned parents.
\r\n&tab;
• Result of Inter- House Wednesday activities.

• Three students Aryan Bardeja (IV A), Poojita Chaudhary (V B) and Niyati (VI C) have participated in Inter School Badminton Tournament which was organised by Noida Stadium on 13 to 15  April 2016.
\r\n&tab;

\r\n&tab;
• Winners in Badminton- Riya Dhar and TushtiMoza of Prakand House in the girls category.

• Eco- club will organize a workshop on ‘ Smart compost pit on 14.5.16 , at 8.30 am. All parents are invited  to be a part of this workshop.
