· Summative assessment for classes VI- XII have started. Theory papers will commence from 12.9.16.
\r\n\r\n· School will remain open on 12th September 2016. Id- Ul- Zuha falls on 13th September 2016. School will remain closed on 13thSeptember 2016.
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
Pre- Primary
\r\n\r\n· Students of Pre- Primary conducted a special assembly on Teacher's Day and Ganesh Chaturthi.
\r\n\r\n· You are requested to send the props positively on Monday for the forthcoming Wednesday activity, ‘Story Basket'.
\r\n\r\n· In KG for English- Letter ‘u' was introduced with phonics and objects, ‘an' family was introduced with flash cards along with an activity Spin the ‘an' wheel. Small sentences on, This is a ball, etc… was done.
\r\n\r\n· Math recapitulation of previous work of 0-100,100-0,what comes before ,after and between, greater and lesser and skip counting of 2's.Oral courting from 1-150 was done, Introduction of 10's and number names of one and two was introduced.Children enjoyed the activity greater and lesser.
\r\n\r\n· E.V.S- Introduction of Pigeon and its habitat, along with a story The Pigeon and the doves.
\r\n\r\n· General Awareness -Introduction of land animals and their homes, young ones, food. Students were made aware about Teacher's Day and Ganesh Chaturthi along with a song, My Teacher and a PPT on the same.
\r\n\r\n· Hindi-Introduction of Vayanjan à %A4%B0 was done; recapitulation of two letters words is going on reading of pages 3,4,5,6 of shabd tarang was done.
\r\n\r\n· In Nursery for English-letter K and its phonic sounds was introduced with flashcards and pictures. Worksheet on letter K was done. In Hindi-Vyanjan à %A4%9D and its related vocabulary was introduced with flashcards .Names of wild animals were introduced in Hindi rhyme Sher niraala himmatwaala was done.
\r\n\r\n· In Math number 8 and its value was introduced through counting of objects and worksheets.Rectangle shape was introduced with PPT ,song and a worksheet. Oral counting from 1-30 was done.
\r\n\r\n· In General Awareness –wild and farm animals were introduced along with a PPT on animals and their sounds, coloring worksheets and sorting of animals activity was done. Occupation my teacher was introduced with a rhyme and ppt.
\r\n\r\nPrimary
\r\n\r\n· Congratulations to Roshi Jain and Shivani Udayan of class III A, for winning the second prize in mask making an inter-school competition held at Billabong School, Noida.
\r\n\r\n· Selection for the forthcoming programme, Palash, for classes I & II, is being conducted. Hence, regularity to school is appreciated.
\r\n\r\n· Selection round for the forthcoming Wednesday activity, Spell- Bee will be held on 14.9.16, for classes I&II, will take place on Monday, 12th September.
\r\n\r\n· Students of classes III- V are preparing for their forthcoming Wednesday Activity, Hindi debate, to be held on 14.9. 16.
\r\n\r\n· Recapitulation in EVS for class V will be conducted on Wednesday, 14th September as the school will remain closed for Id- Ul- Zuha on Tuesday, 13th September.
\r\n\r\n· As part of Inter –class Wednesday activity classes I&II had EVS quiz and classes III- V had sprints in 100 meters. Winners will be awarded the certificates.
\r\n\r\n· Transcription in English and Hindi has been given to classes I-V by their respective teachers.
\r\n\r\n· Students of class III A&B visited the Royal Bakery on 9.9.16. They enjoyed learning about a variety of biscuits.
\r\n\r\n· Students of class 1 A, B &C enjoyed their visit to the Indian Rail Museum. Visiting the gallery of models of the vintage cargo and passenger trains was a source of immense learning for the students.They were excited to learn about the journey of Indian Railways from the steam engines to the electric engines. A joy ride in the toy train was loved by the students.
\r\n\r\nSeniors
\r\n\r\n· SA1 computer practical and Assessment of Speaking and listening skills were conducted in all classes VI to XII.
\r\n\r\n· SA 1 theory exams for classes VI to XII will commence from 12thSeptember 2016. The revised date sheet and SA 1 syllabus has been uploaded on mapping mind. Kindly note that no leaves will be sanctioned during the Summative assessment to the students.
\r\n\r\n·
\r\n\r\n· The exams will commence at 8.15am and will be over by 11.30am. Students are advised to have light breakfast in the morning as breakfast in senior classes will be at 11.30 am during all exams days.
\r\n\r\n· 17th September 2016 is working till 2.00pm as students of classes VI to XII have their SA exam on Saturday.
\r\n\r\n· Parents can pick their wards from the school at 12.00 noon.

\r\n\r\no Most people infected with chikungunya virus will develop some symptoms.
\r\n\r\no Symptoms usually begin 3–7 days after being bitten by an infected mosquito
\r\n\r\no The most common symptoms are fever and joint pain.
\r\n\r\no Other symptoms may include headache, muscle pain, joint swelling, or rashes.
\r\n\r\no Treat the symptoms:
\r\n\r\n§ Get plenty of rest.
\r\n\r\n§ Drink fluids to prevent dehydration.

Sports
\r\n\r\n· On 7th September 2016 classes III to V had 100mts. Sprints. There was 100% participation of all the students in the activity. Winners will be awarded with the certificates soon.
\r\n\r\n· Heartiest Congratulations to the family of Jhanvi Dwivedi of class / for winning the NCR School Open Tournament under 16 Girls Singles category organised by District Tennis Association at Gautam Budha Nagar .She has also scored the runners up position in lawn tennis at Passerine Sports tournament organized by Haryana tennis association.
