• The school feels proud to share that Rahul Ahlawat, a student of class XI got the opportunity to have an interaction with Colonel Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore AVSM, Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting along with 11 other students from schools all over Delhi and Gurgoan. It was a lifetime experience for the student. We felicitate Rahul for representing Pragyan.
\r\n&tab;
• A two day workshop for the school faculty was held on July, 21^st and 22^nd. Teachers of various schools from Noida and Greater Noida attended the workshop. The organizers, The Central Board of Secondary Education, Centre of excellence, apprised the teachers on Capacity Building Programme on Scholastic Aspects of CCE.

• Practices for the various events of Melange are on and the students are being trained for the same.

• We are discontinuing our ‘Splash Pool' activity due to change of season.
\r\n&tab;
• Children of Nursery and KG enjoyed Rhyme time (Hindi) on Wednesday .Certificates will be given to the winners.
\r\n&tab;
• In Nursery, letter ‘F' was introduced with phonic sounds through stories and flash card .Written practice of letter ‘F' was done in note book. Story of little ‘Red Hen' was narrated with puppets, children enjoyed watching the story .Numeral ‘4' and its value was introduced with counting of object. Number match wheel activity was done children enjoyed counting and clipping the numbers .Tall and short (pre number concept was also introduced. In General Awareness occupation ‘Gardener' was introduced. Students enjoyed colouring worksheets on tools used in the garden. In Hindi vyanjan 'à %A4–' and its related vocabulary was introduced with flash card /pictures. 'à %A4%8Fà %A4• à %A4%9Aà %A4%BFà %A5%9Cà %A4%BFà %A4%AFà %A4%BE à %A4•à %A5%87 à %A4%ACà %A4%9Aà %A5%8Dà %A4%9Aà %A5%87 à %A4%9Aà %A4%BEà %A4%B0' Rhyme was recited in the class with actions, oral counting 1-10 was done in Hindi

• In KG letters ‘Qq' and ‘Pp' were introduced and ‘ad' family words were done along with a PPT and  Students also enjoyed tracing small case letters .In General Awareness Students spoke few lines on bee during ‘show and tell' activity .and enjoyed a PPT on bee. In General Awareness students are able to speak few lines on Monsoon/rainy season .They also enjoyed watching ‘Sid the Scientist, and Lets build a house with Bill'. In Maths children enjoyed a PPT on what comes after/before. Numbers 0-60 was introduced and a worksheet on count and write was also done in class.  In Hindi, introduction of vyanjan 'Ã %A4%AD' and story of 'Ã %A4®' was done in class.

Primary

\r\n\r\n

·         Inter-class activity for classes I and II was roller skating and English Recitation for classes III- V. Winners will be awarded certificates.

\r\n\r\n

• Children of class 1to bring passport size photographs of their family members to make a family album as a part of their E.V.S. activity.
\r\n

\r\n\r\n

They should also bring 3 buttons which are to be used for their English activity.

\r\n\r\n

Seniors

\r\n\r\n

\r\n&tab;
• Class IX & X went to Mother Dairy on 12.07.2016. Students learnt about the pasteurization of milk and other processes.
\r\n&tab;
• Commerce students of class XI & XII visited the stock exchange where they got to know the working of the share market. An interactive  session of question and answers was held in which economic policies were also discussed.
\r\n&tab;
• Mock test for class XI & XII have been completed. The answer scripts have been sent to students. Parents are requested to go through them and sign them.
\r\n&tab;

  • In English debate Anagha Prabhu from Prayas House got  best speaker for the motion , Pranav Kaul from Prayas House got best speaker against the motion and Rishul Mittal from Pragati House got best interjector award.

  • In Creating Website, Ananya Sharma and Hemant Chandra from Prayas House got the  first position. 
    \r\n&tab;&tab;In English poem recitation, Maithali Sharma from Prakand House got the first position.
