· The school is organizing the Summer Camp, commencing from Monday, 16^th May 2016 to

\r\n\r\n

Saturday 28^th May 2016. An array of activities have been designed .The camp is open for students Nursery – X related mail & hard copy of the same has been sent.

Pre- Primary

\r\n\r\n

In Nursery, letter ‘T' was introduced in the note book with related pictures. The students enjoyed coloring of Tomato in English workbook. Children enjoyed vegetable printing on letter T for tomato. In Math, counting from 1-20 , pattern writing (curve) was introduced in the note book. Colouring in Math work book in number 1 was done. In Hindi, oral counting 1-10 in Hindi was done. In General Awareness summer season was discussed and they enjoyed painting ice-cream cones and filling cotton in them. Children shared their likes and dislikes in conversation class.
In KG ‘od' words were introduced with its picture along with a PPT on od family words (you tube).Children enjoyed matching popcorn sight words. Introduction of numbers 0-30, what comes before/after. The concept of big-small, tall-short, heavy-light along with PPT on opposites and worksheets were done in Maths. Children were also engaged with Analogue worksheets. In EVS, show and tell activity on Buffalo was done and recapitulation of lady bird was also done. In Hindi, recapitulation of previous swar was done and swar ‘Ã %A4%8F, Ã %A4\"' was introduced in class.

Primary

\r\n\r\n

Classes III B and IIA conducted the class assembly. Our thanks to the parents of both the classes for their motivating presence.
The following Wednesday activities were done:\r\n&tab;
- Classes I and II- Kavita Vachan. The winners will soon be awarded their certificates.
- Classes III- V participated in singing bhajans.
\r\n&tab;
Ayushi Jain of class V-A won consolation prize in inter- school painting competition held at ASN School, New Delhi. The competition was organized by The Hindu.
Parents of class 1 are requested to send a set of extra clothes for their wards. These clothes will be used in case of an emergency.
In the morning assembly, students of classes II A, IIIA, IIIB and IV A presented what they learnt in their vocal music and dance classes:-\r\n&tab;
- Class II A- A song based on Earth Day.
- Class IIIA- Bhajan
- Class III B- Kabirdas ke Dohe.
- Class IV A- Rhythmic movements
\r\n&tab;
Transcription for classes I- V will be done as per the teacher's guidance, both in English and Hindi

Seniors

\r\n\r\n

Syllabus for the month of May for classes 6 to 12 is uploaded on mapping minds.
Students have received the summer camp forms. The mail regarding this has also been sent.
SOF (Olympiad) forms in different subjects for classes 9 to 12 have been mailed.
Selection round for Inter-House Social Studies quiz will be held on 12^th May 2016 for classes VI-VIII.

Sports

\r\n\r\n

Heartiest Congratulations to Akshat Singh of class XI for participating in Pre CSH National Soccer camp- 2016-17 at Ahmadabad, Gujarat from April 18^th to 20^th 2016.
Sub Junior football team from classes III to V( Boys) won the friendly match played at Genesis Global School with their sub Junior team.
Heartiest Congratulations to Shivansh Kapur of class VII for being runner up in National Ranking AITA U-12 organised by Gurgaon International Tennis Academy .
Students of Classes IX to XII played Football (Boys) and Basket ball (Girls) as a part of Inter House Activity on 4^th May 2016. Certificates will be awarded to the winners.
Classes I and II enjoyed with full enthusiasm and zeal Intra- Mural athletics in 40mts. Sprint organised for both the classes in different categories (Boys and Girls) . Parents and students enjoyed this activity. Congratulations to the winners
