45 students of class XII accompanied by two teachers visited the Times Group Production Plant at Sahibabad, UP on 27th April 2023. The experience instilled much curiosity and knowledge in each student as they walked through the story behind each newspaper. From editing stations, printing, inks, cutting and circulation on conveyer belts, there really was so much to learn. The resource person from Times group explained in detail about the legacy of Times group from being the first paper in the world to go all colour to printing 10 lakh copies each day and becoming the largest newspaper circulation group. The students also learnt an integral topic about how paper is actually much more eco friendly than the news online. The plant visit was truly one of a kind and proved to be an enlightening experience for all.
