THE ANNUAL FUNCTION- ‘JAZBA’

Pragyan school, Greater Noida celebrated its Annual Day 'Jazba' for the classes VI-VIII on 25 November 2022 amidst great zest and festivity in the school auditorium.

India is a unique land of vibrant colours, breathtaking landscapes and rich history. The history of India is about the valour of warriors and emerging victorious. To salute to this unending Indian spirit, Pragyan school, Greater Noida celebrated its Annual Day ‘Jazba' for the classes VI-VIII on 25 November 2022 amidst great zest and festivity in the school auditorium. The occasion was graced by the august presence of distinguished members of the management, proud parents and other dignitaries. All treasured invitees were greeted through a theme-based foyer where they could have the glimpses of India's glorious past and bright future.

The event began with according a cordial and warm welcome to the dignitaries present on the occasion followed by the lighting of ceremonial lamp. The cultural programme commenced with ‘Naad', a versatile symphony of various instruments wherein the talented instrumentalists created magic with melody, harmony and rhythm but without looking at their musical instruments. The soulful ‘Shastriya Sangeet' performance in Rag Bhairvi left the audience indeed spellbound. Brimming with joy and passion, the dancers in the contemporary dance ‘leap of Faith' mesmerized the onlookers with their scintillating performance.

The Principal, Ms. Ruchika Sharma presented the annual report highlighting the numerous achievements of the school and the students. The highlight of the show was an inspiring story of “GORA-BADAL” one of the great Indian patriotic legends from the ‘Land of Kings' which proved that ‘Patriotism is not a short, frenzied outburst of emotions, but the tranquil and steady dedication of a lifetime'. Then came the euphonious Rajasthani dance wherein the girls dressed in black flowing traditional ghagras performed the dance while the men played the instruments and created a rhythm that touched every soul.

 

The Principal Mrs. Ruchika Sharma extended the vote of thanks asserting the pride in the boundless talent and relentless efforts of the students. The programme concluded with the National Anthem.
