Students of class III B conducted the morning assembly on Storytelling on 18.2.2020 and 19.2.2020. They spoke about how Stories and Folktales can be used to help children develop strong reading skills, study other cultures, model positive character traits, and discover a love of stories. They even narrated folktales from Mizoram, Uttar Pradesh and Japan along with props. They shared a humorous poem The Ballad of Chum, which is the story of a loveable guard dog. The students even presented The Monk and his Student, a folktale from China through an enactment. Aadya of 3B presented a Kathak recital. The assembly was concluded with our respected HM Ms Divya Ma'am sharing the importance of stories in our lives, the morals we learn from them and how they enrich us.
On February, 13th &17th students of class III A presented the morning assembly based on the topic, 'Happiness'. Through their topic students presented happy and inspirational thoughts, they talked about happiness and ways to stay happy always. The foot tapping dance and peppy, cheery song was enjoyed by one and all. On a concluding note the students expressed their heartfelt gratitude to all their teachers for their love and continuous guidance
Quiz on various topics of Social Science was conducted for students of classes IX A & B. The students were divided into four teams. They appeared for four rounds. Following students were declared winners: Kumar Priyam (IX B), Daria Khan (IX B) and Ira Joshi (IX A).
The students of Junior Home Science Club of classes VI - VIII learnt to tie & die the cloth in different ways. Then they put them in two different colours with teacher's assistance and created beautiful patterns out of it. They also learnt to cook bread pizza.
