Melange

A mega inter - school, cultural event- “Melange”, was hosted by Pragyan on the 3rd, 4th and 5th of August, 2015.This event was sponsored by the SRM University.The school premises were alive and buzzing with over sixteen hundred students from reputed schools in Noida and Greater Noida. It was a delight to observe the myriad costumes in a kaleidoscope of colours.There were students in various dance costumes, groups for Nukkad Natak and some in Shakespearian outfits.There were other students anxiously revising dialogues, speeches and poems. Altogether forty two events took place over the span of three days, giving opportunities for participation to students from Class I to XII. A huge proposition, managed efficiently, with the help of the student body of Pragyan.Experts in various fields, including members of the parent body were invited to be judges for the various events.Such events act not only as a platform to showcase the talents of students and build up their confidence, but also indicate the benefits of working as a team, and the joy and camaraderie of working in a group.This enterprise of the school management goes a long way, in working towards the holistic development of the students.
