Social issues have plagued the lives of many people in our society. Our young generation is a bright ray of hope in dealing with such challenges and in raising awareness about these social ills. By keeping this in vision an interclass skit competition on the current social issues was organised for the students of classes VI-VIII. Our students used the stage for communicating some bold and ignored social problems. The students performed the thought-provoking sequences depicting social values, life choices and their consequences based on the social malaises such as Dowry, Eve-Teasing, Acid Attacks, Mental Health, Child Labour, racial discrimination, Transgender, Corruption etc. The children displayed tremendous energy and enthusiasm in their performances. These heart-touching depictions made the event memorable. The young performers gained a refined perspective of life and a practical approach towards the future.
