“Poetry is the language of imagination, of feelings, of emotional self-expression, and high art.” At Pragyan we believe that understanding poems makes a child sensitive and creative. To spread the fragrance of poetry among children, the school organized an Inter-Class Poem Recitation competition on 2nd May 2023 for classes VI-VIII. Our young poem reciters got the opportunity to exhibit their recitation skills with a lot of zeal, enthusiasm and they amazed everyone with their captivating presentations. The participants came up with the poems of famous poets on various themes such as Man and Nature, Dreams, Celebrations, Motivational and Historical poems. The recital excelled in rhythm, mood, diction and expressions. The participants were judged on various parameters like voice articulation, expressions, gestures and overall presentation. The judges were mesmerized by the recitals. Every single student who recited the poem had something different to share and present. The judges had a tough time deciding on the winner. We congratulate the following students for achieving positions in the English Poem Recitation competition.
