Inter School Sports Meet (Sr.)

“Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence wins championships.” ? Michael Jordan. To inculcate this habit of working together as a team Pragyan School organised an Inter-School Sports Meet from 28th – 30th August, 2017. More than twelve hundred students from thirty-one schools participated in different events. The team games which these young sportsmen and sportswomen participated in were - basketball, football, lawn tennis and badminton. True sportsmanship is knowing that you need your opponent because without him or her, there is no game and acknowledging that your opponent holds the same deep-rooted aspirations and expectations as you. Knowing that, win or lose, you will always be a good sport. With this thought in mind all the team games were played with the utmost zeal, each team pitting its strength against the other. The spectators overwhelmed by the frenzy of the game were cheering, each for their own team.
