Inter School Cricket Tournament (under 12) was held in Pragyan School, Greater Noida from 31.01.2018 to 2.02.2018 in which 16 teams from the schools of Noida and Greater Noida participated. The schools that participated in the tournament were Genesis Global School, Pathways Int. School, Jesus and Mary Convent School, Somerville school, Greater Noida, G.D Goenka Greater Noida, Apeejay Int. School Greater Noida, Shiv Nader School, St.Joseph School, DPS Greater Faridabad, Greater Noida World School, Kaushalaya World School, Rameesh Int. School, Scholar's Home Int. School, JBM Global School, Brain Tree Global School and Pragyan School. The teams had nine students from each school and it was mandatory for all the teams to play in the tournament. St.Joseph School reached the semifinals by winning the match against Jesus and Mary School by (50-37). The other team to reach the finals was Scholars Home Int. School who defeated Greater Noida World School by (37-36). The final trophy was bagged by St.Joseph School by defeating the Scholars Home Int. School by (54-50). Vidyansh Gohlal of St.Joseph won the Man of the Match trophy by playing an excellent game in four matches in which he took eight wickets by giving only 13 runs. The Principal of Pragyan School Mrs. Ruchika Sharma encouraged and motivated the teams with her inspiring words and by giving away the trophies to the winners.
