On October 17, 2023, KPMG Global hosted an informative Cyber Safety Awareness session at Pragyan School Greater Noida. The event aimed to impart knowledge to students in grades VI-XII about the critical significance of cyber safety and security in our ever-evolving digital landscape, given the rapid expansion of social media and online activities. The session, led by KPMG professionals, covered various key topics to enhance students' awareness of cybersecurity issues. These topics included safeguarding personal information online, responsible smartphone usage, secure login procedures, responsible online gaming practices, recognizing and responding to common cyber threats, protecting privacy on social media, managing screen time and online content critically, and introducing students to the concept of artificial intelligence in cybersecurity. The event concluded with a discussion of career opportunities in the field of cybersecurity and the importance of ethical hacking.
