Senior Annual Day 2017

Happiness, eternal bliss or Anandam can only exist in an atmosphere of giving and sharing. The happiest people are not those who get more, but give more. With this theme for the Senior Annual Day of the school was held on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Pragyan School, Greater Noida. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Mr. K.K. Choudhary, Controller of Examinations, Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi.

The revered chief guest was welcomed by the traditional lighting of the lamp along with chanting of Sanskrit slokas. The program commenced with a melodious instrumental-Samveda Tarangini, based on Raag Yaman, in Hindustani Classical tradition. This was followed by a breathtaking Invocation- Gauri Shankar Gadnayak, invoking the blessings of Lord Shiva, Goddess Parvati and Lord Ganesh. The school choir enthralled the audience with a harmonious rendition of `Swar Anandini`. The Nukkad Natak `Rashmi Rath` was thought provoking. The main production named `Anandam` took the audience back to their childhood with an intriguing intertwining of favourite fairy tales, but with a difference. The message was that happiness can only be achieved through a generosity of spirit.

The prizes for the annual excellence awards in all subjects were awarded to the meritorious students from Class III-XII by the Chief Guest.
